Meet Stephanie.

I am the mother of two (one of which is a burgeoning hobbyist herself) and live in the great northern city of Minneapolis.  I have been a hairstylist for 20 years and a yoga teacher of both adults and children for 10.
I love adding art to my kids yoga classes. It is so fun to see young hobbyists discover new ways to express themselves.  I would say that I have had a love of artistic hobbies since the first time I placed tiny plastic tubes in a pattern and magically fused them together with an iron.
I love yarny arts including knitting and crochet.  I would love to try weaving and spinning some day!  I also love papercraft, art journaling, creating garb, and painting.

Meet Summer.

By day, I work in the health insurance industry ... by night, I’m a casual crafter and enthusiast of all things geeky and nerdy. My main craft loves are sewing, quilting, and most recently watercolor.

However, given enough encouragement, directions, and supplies I know I can tackle just about anything! I’m looking forward to sharing my creation adventures with you!

Meet Deanna.

I am a Midwest gal who likes to do too many things and jump in before really thinking it through. That's how I ended up here. As a hobbyist. I am a full-time fiction writer and editor. In fact, I just released my first book Sophie & the G-Man! You can find out more about my writing and editing services here.

In addition to my literary calling, I am also a full-time instructional designer. People pay me to make animations, create educational trainings and more. It's a pretty sweet gig.

My hobbies include (but are never limited to...):

Cooking: I LOVE making food as much as I enjoy eating it. My knives are sacred and sharp--my husband won't even use the good ones for fear of the blades and my wrath should he use them improperly! I also do a fair amount of canning--and my pickles are to die for. My jam skills on the other hand ... leave a little to be desired.

Painting: I've dabbled in painting for years but had always been scared to try watercolors. However, when Covid hit and we were all confined at home (and my calendar suddenly cleared) I decided to give it a shot. And I took to it like a duck to water! I love watercolors so much I painted for hours a day and basically gave myself a crash course in the medium.

Sewing: I started sewing when I was a kid but it didn't take until I was well grown. Now, I can make my own clothes and I am not even a little scared of buttonholes or zippers--well maybe invisible zips! I am also an avid quilter. I have the fabric stash and stack of incomplete projects to prove it!
